The first full day that we were there, we rented a car and drove around most of the island. We stopped at multiple beaches, ate the obligatory and inexplicable Matsumoto's Shave Ice. (why is this popular?) Unbeknownst to Jon, I lead him to multiple Lost locations - the Byodo-In Temple where Jin and Sun were married, the waterfall where Kate found her case, one river, the valleys, Hurley's golf course etc. They were all worth seeing on their own, but by the third time I said "This is where... (fill in Lost reference)" Jon clued in to what we were really doing. And I got called a geek.
